Chimes and Music

Hourly

The Carillon will play the Westminster chimes at the top of each hour during the hours the cemetery is open to visitors.  The Carillon bell will chime every hour, i.e., 10 times at 10 a.m., 12 times at noon, one time at 1 p.m., two times at 2 p.m., etc.

Half-hourly

The Carillon bell will chime once on every half-hour.

Music

8:30 a.m. – “Star Spangled Banner”

10:30 a.m. – “This is My Country”

12:30 p.m. – “America the Beautiful”

2:30 p.m. – Theme from “Saving Private Ryan”

4:30 p.m. – “God Bless America”

5:00 p.m. – “Taps” and the bell will chime five times

Note: The Carillon has a large repertoire of music, which can be played at the cemetery administration’s discretion for special occasions.
